About Us
Cyber-Soldier Designs is owned and operated by Marie Ledbetter. Marie, a 27 year old college student, works full time and attends school full time along with running both Cyber-Soldier Designs and Cyber-Ribbons (a nonprofit pink ribbon store) from home. With an Associates Degree in Technical Communications from Oklahoma State University - Oklahoma City Campus, she continues her education at the University of Central Oklahoma to get a bacchelor's degree in Computer Science.
Marie started working on computers at a very young age with her father. Alan Keever, Marie's father, is a computer programmer for a large corporation in Oklahoma City. He started teaching Marie computers as soon as she could read. Marie quickly developed skills with multiple types of software, and it soon became apparent that she would move into a computer field as a career choice. She hopes to eventually round out her education with a Masters in Computer Forensics.
Marie also spent 6 years as a soldier in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, to include a year stationed at Camp Fallujah, Iraq. She left the service after six and a half years as a sergeant in good standing with the Army. Once returning from Iraq, Marie headed directly back to college to work on finishing her Associates Degree. Since that time, she has continued to web design, to design pink ribbon apparel and accessories, and to fix computers for her friends and family when she can.
